Lina al-Hathloul is a human rights activist and the sister of prominent Saudi women's rights activist Loujain al-Hathloul. Lina has been advocating for her sister's release from prison since her arrest in May 2018. She has been vocal in media interviews and social media about the human rights violations in Saudi Arabia, particularly around women's rights and freedom of speech. Lina has worked with international human rights organizations, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, to raise awareness about her sister's case and the broader issue of political prisoners in Saudi Arabia. In addition to her activism, Lina is a linguist and translator, and has worked with various organizations as a language specialist.
